Hello World. Haha, so maybe that's not that funny. I laughed. So anyways, here's a very very brief summary of who I am and what I do:

Profession: IT Consultant

Education: WPI '03 CS

Home: South Boston

Okay, enough of that. I intend to use this as my outlet for making what my fiance (and friends, family, etc.) call "arrogant opinions" on how things should be done. I will save everyone from having to listen to all of my opinions on the world and will limit them to just relevant programming topics. But honestly, what I am really looking to get out of this is other people's opinions, which I'm hoping mine will provoke.

So what do I mean by "Efficient Programming"? For me this means many things, not just lean memory usage and speed, which I think is what comes to people's mind first, but also code re-usage, ROI of code, readabilty, elegance, object-oriented, using the right tool for the job, standards, etc. I can go on but I think you get my point.

I like to look at code and say - "That looks nice.", not "Wow, I'm going to have to tab the hell out of this before I can even look at it". Sorry for the language but this is one of my pet peeves about code - poor readability - and it will be my first topic which I was planning on blogging about right now but unfortunately for you it's a really nice day out in South Boston right now and I'm going to go risk my life and test the waters of Carson Beach for the first time this year.
